Castle Family Health Centers delivers quality, accessible care to patients of all ages across three comprehensive clinic locations.
Castle Family Health Centers (CFHC) is a nonprofit community clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and affordable healthcare services in Merced County. With three full-service clinic locations—Castle Site, Bloss Site, and Winton Site—we deliver a wide range of medical, behavioral health, and educational services to patients of all ages.
CFHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Program look-alike, committed to removing barriers to care by offering bilingual services and treating patients regardless of their ability to pay.
Our Mission:
To provide comprehensive, quality, and accessible care—respecting every patient’s cultural and linguistic background.
Castle Family Health Centers, Inc. was incorporated as a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation in 2006 and received its 501(c)(3) federal designation in 2007. In 2010, CFHC became a Federally Qualified Health Center Program look-alike in partnership with the Bloss Memorial Healthcare District (BMHD).
The Castle Site, once part of the Castle Air Force Base Hospital, now houses CFHC’s largest facility—offering primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, dental, optometry, behavioral health, radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services.
The Bloss Site operates in the former BMHD hospital and includes women’s health, behavioral health, and general medical services.
The Winton Site is CFHC’s newest clinic, featuring 18 medical exam rooms, 5 dental operatories, and multiple behavioral health offices.
The Atwater Site, CFHC’s newest location, expands access to family medicine, pediatrics, radiology, and lab services—all supported by a bilingual staff to better serve the diverse needs of the community.
CFHC offers a full scope of primary and specialty care, including:
Our services are designed to support long-term health and improve outcomes for the medically underserved, uninsured, and safety-net populations of Merced County.
We understand that quality care begins with access. CFHC actively hires bilingual providers and staff to meet the diverse needs of the community and provide linguistically and culturally appropriate care.
Across our 4 locations, CFHC clinics operate a combined 152 hours per week, ensuring flexibility and availability for the patients we serve.
